The M.B. Lamar Middle School Library and Media Services Department, led by librarian Ms. Loranca, is excited to announce the official Accelerated Reader (A.R.) Kickoff for the 2025–2026 school year.
This year, Lamar Lions are setting their sights on reading big, dreaming big, and earning big. With A.R. as their guide, students will embark on a reading adventure filled with challenges, goals, and opportunities to grow as leaders in literacy.
“Our goal is to inspire a love of reading and encourage students to push themselves to new heights,” said Ms. Loranca. “We want our Lions to know that every book opens doors to imagination, knowledge, and success.”
The A.R. Challenge officially begins now, and the Lamar community is ready to make this kickoff one to remember. Students are encouraged to dive into their books, earn points, and celebrate their reading achievements throughout the year.
